SPECTRA

Textiles have always interested me. As a very young girl I began sewing, knitting and rug hooking. I have been fascinated with using my hands to create for a long time. Creating beauty with my hands gives me a feeling of joy.

Nature is a large influence for me. When I see an interesting sky, landscape or colour combination it inspires me to attempt to recreate it in textiles. The process of creating is a constant learning experience.  Experimenting with techniques and products to bring to fruition the vision I have energizes me.
